The Trump brand is marketed as a luxury brand. While he has diversified into a variety of products, the main focus has always been real estate. He owns several buildings, particularly in New York City where he’s from.
Donald Trump is now running as a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election. Trump is also chairman and president of The Trump Organization and is also a founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts, a gaming and hotel enterprise.
His business activities, television work, outspoken manner, and personal life have made him an international celebrity.
Trump first ran for President of the United States in 2000, winning two Reform Party primaries. On June 16, 2015, Trump announced his decision to run again for President, this time as a Republican. On Super Tuesday in March 2016, Trump won Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Vermont, and Virginia, solidifying his status as the Republican front runner.

The 65-year-old businessman Donald Trump recently reported his net worth as $7 billion as president of The Donald J. Trump Foundation. The Trump charity has been funded in recent years by $5 million in donations from World Wrestling Entertainment. The foundation received the seven figures in return for Trump’s involvement in a couple of WWE story lines, which included promotion of a pay-per-view WrestleMania event. IRS records show that Trump has donated just $675,000 to his foundation.
To conclude, Trump’s financial disclosures reveal two things. First, his financial holdings are complex and therefore prone to fluctuation, depending on how the numbers are calculated. Second, most major news outlets, agree he is a billionaire but closer to $2 billion or $4 billion. Therefore, the $10 billion figure Trump uses in stump speeches is likely an exaggeration.
