A teacher was seriously injured after she fell off from the fourth floor of a school building during a mock drill on Wednesday in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad. The school was conducting drills on how to escape from the building in case of an emergency. The incident took place when Shraddha Sharma, a primary teacher in RRK School located at Ashiyana area, fell off while demonstrating safety exercises to students.
Were carrying out a mock drill in a bid to show students how an evacuation is carried out when an earthquake occurs or in times of a fire. The teacher was being lowered from the fourth floor of the school building using rope when something went wrong, causing her to lose control and fall to the ground.

The injured teacher has been admitted to a hospital and her condition is stated to be critical. She sustained severe injuries to her skull and multiple fractures. The teachers were giving a demonstration on how to slide down from the rooftop of the building in case of an emergency.
