In Tamil film ‘Maattrraan’, there was a scene in the theater where Surya and Kajal Agarwal had to kiss each other. While watching the movie the scene looks very natural but it was shot using VFX effects.

Use of VFX effects in the Indian movies had been quite common these days. VFX is a technology that involves the integration of live-action footage and generated imagery to create environments which look realistic. But it is expensive.

For example, Baahubali, the movie was mostly shot with VFX effects. This technology is helpful in creating a visual which is actually not present while shooting. It takes a lot of time to make a perfect shot.

Apart from its stunning visual effects, comic timing and underlining story, the film also featured an intimate moment between the lead actors in a movie theater. The film shows Surya and Kajal Agarwal engaging in a short lip-lock.

South star Kajal Aggarwal is known for her never kissing on screen policy. She has kissed for the first time in Bollywood film “Do Lafzon Ki Kahani” and is worried that it may damage her carefully cultivated image down South.

A behind the scenes video on the making of this scene has once again started doing the rounds online. Much to fan’s surprise, Surya and Kajal Agarwal didn’t really lock lips on camera. Their brief on-screen smooch happens to be the work of good VFX and face tracking devices.
