Recently Virat Kohli launched Audi R8 V10 Plus. Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, has introduced the most powerful and fastest Audi ever built, the R8 V10 Plus. The car, which was unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year. Audi set the pulses racing in Bengaluru as it hosted the Audi India Range drive to showcase its diverse product portfolio. The event also marked the market introduction of the most powerful and fastest production Audi ever built the next generation Audi R8 V10 Plus.
It is powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.2 FSI quattro V10 mid-engine that produces a peak output of 610 hp (449 kW) which propels the car from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 330 kph. At 1,454 kg, it is much lighter than its predecessor. The car was launched by Joe King, head, Audi India, and cricketer Virat Kohli at an event at Taneja Airstrip near Bangalore.
The company also marked this event as a perfect platform to market the prologue of the showstopper, fastest and most powerful Audi ever built, the next generation Audi R8 V10 Plus.
Audi Fan and Star Cricketer, Virat Kohli also arrived at the event and drove Audi’s superlative range of mean machines.

Embodied in its DNA is the know-how acquired in the numerous car racing successes that Audi has achieved over the years.”

The next generation Audi R8 V10 Plus is flatter, lighter and muscular than its preceding version and its shares about 50 percent of elements with R8 Coupe which consist of technologies such as V10 powerhouse and the Audi Space Frame. As far as the dimensions are concerned, Audi R8 V10 Plus measures 4426mm in length, 1940mm in width, height of 1240mm along with wheelbase of 2650mm. Feature wise, this showstopper features LED headlights with Laser light and high beam assist, parking system with front and rear sensor, automatic climate control, 3-spoke multi-functional leather steering wheel, Bang & Olufsen sound system, bucket seats and performance mode.

The interior of the all-new Audi R8 features a Monoposto cockpit design with everything focused on the driver. Built on the aerodynamic concept of a race car, the next generation Audi R8 V10 Plus has improved fuel economy by 13%. The sound of the engine, whose maximum torque is 6,500 rpm, has become even fuller and sharper, a release said.
Audi India, which is facing strong competition from Mercedes-Benz India, currently has sold 55,000 cars in the country. The showstopper being the most powerful and fastest production Audi ever built – the next generation new Audi R8 V10 Plus will bring the buzz about Audi in the youth.
