South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn Indian Premier League team Gujarat Lions have made a strong start in their debut season winning all three opening matches but the Dale Steyn has been left on the bench. A slump in form during the recently concluded World T20 in India has kept him out of action but that hasn’t kept him from having fun off the field as he joined a group of children playing street cricket in Mumbai.

Dale Steyn has dropped down the order due to injuries and the ensuing difficulty in getting back to form. But he’s not letting that affect his mood. Part of the Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League, Steyn forgot about his celebrity status and stepped out on to the streets of Mumbai to play some ‘Gully’ cricket.

Dale Steyn took to his Instagram account to share his happiness by posting a video with the words, “Little bit of street cricket in Mumbai, my 1st wicket of the IPL.”

This is not the first time that Dale Steyn has got involved into an unplanned game. Incidentally last year during South Africa’s tour to Bangaldesh, Steyn got drenched in rain played football with a few kids of Chittagong.

Dale Steyn decided to have some fun and joined the kids for ‘gully cricket’ in Mumbai.
