Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde starrer Mohenjo Daro‘s trailer was released on Monday. Hrithik Roshan shared the trailer of his upcoming historical drama “Mohenjo Daro” on his Twitter profile. The film also features Kabir Bedi and Arunoday Singh in key roles.

The trailer of Ashutosh Gowariker’s much-awaited film Mohenjo Daro is finally out. After months of speculation and guess work, the world gets to see how Ashutosh created a world which existed even before Christ and Buddha walked the earth.

Ashutosh Gowariker, “We are extremely thrilled with the positive response to the motion poster and first look posters of ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and couldn’t wait to share the trailer. Television still continues to be one of the best and fastest way to reach out to viewers across age groups, segments and length and breadth of the country and in this case globally.”

The trailer of Hrithik Roshan’s much-awaited project “Mohenjo Daro” was launched on Monday. The trailer was released across Star TV networks as a roadblock on all channels.

The cloths of Hrithik Roshan‘s character Sarman in the film might remind viewers of Aamir Khan’s character Bhuvan from Gowariker’s award-winning film “Lagaan” while it might not look fresh as people have already seen it due to the numerous pictures from the shoot already leaked.

The trailer sees Hrithik Roshan‘s character based in some other location but having the huge desire to visit the place called Mohenjo Daro as he always feels a certain connection with the place which feels familiar. Though his character looks like a commoner, he falls in love with Pooja Hegde, who is a princess-like girl belonging to the best class and they share a kiss.

The characters of Arunoday Singh and Kabir Bedi came across as the baddies. At a time when most trailers are launched at events, “Mohenjo Daro” team initiated a new marketing move and selected to unveil it through a global GEC (General Entertainment Channel) roadblock. A three-minute full trailer via a roadblock on their network channels was viewed by as many as 30 million people worldwide on channels across Star Networks.“Mohenjo Daro” is slated to release on August 12.
