Legendary actor Dilip Kumar was rushed to the hospital due to the pain and swelling in his left leg. By many, he has been considered as the Indian cinema’s greatest actor. Currently, he being treated at Mumbai’s Leelavati Hospital. The actor, who is just four days away for his 94th birthday on December 11, complained his wife actress Saira Banu about the swelling and pain which alarmed her and immediately she rushed him to the hospital.

The actor has been many times been in and out oof the hospital due to his health issues. Talking to a leading daily, actress Saira Banu,”I was anyways planning to take him for a routine check-up, but the swelling alarmed me. He was also complaining about having cough and cold. I am very suspicious when it comes to Dilip’s health.”

She added that the actor is under observation and is doing fine. Actress Saira Banu further added that” The doctors are examining him and he is under observation. He is comfortable blue and is doing fine with the team. I hope nothing is serious, and inshallah I will take him back home before his 94th birthday.”

Bollywood Dilip Kumar— born Yusuf Khan, has worked in many superhits in his career spending 54 years like Aan, Daag, Madhumati, Paigham, Leader and Ram Aur Shyam. HIs glorious film Devdas, the fine that was greatest in the Indian cinema Ganga Jamuna,  the historical love saga Mughal-E-Azam. Qila was his last film in 1998. In 1994, he was honored Dadasaheb Phalke Award and in 2015 he was honored with Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian honor.

The actor’s birthday is the big celebration with Bollywood celebrities, led by fans such as Aamir Khan, SRK, Amitabh Bachan lining up to congratulate him on his birthday.
