According to The Express Tribune, Musharraf had filed an application with an anti-terrorism court expressing his intent to return back to Pakistan. His application also includes requesting for foolproof security because he was getting “serious security threats” and he could come out of his exile and present himself in court as Musharraf is facing charges in the Benazir Bhutto, Nawab Akbar Bugti and Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder cases.
