Junaid Jamshed famous singer-turned-Islamic preacher, two infants, three foreigners and famed-rockstar-turned-Muslim evangelist all were aboard with local citizens of Pakistan, all left in a state of mourning in the country. Pakistani plane crashed on Tuesday with on board 48 people all together and the demise of all left a shock. This plane crash has been the most deadliest plane crash in the last four years of the record.

Pakistan’s Abbottabad was facing some engine problems, the flames were noticed as the plane crashed into a hilly area. The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane PK-661 with Deputy Commissioner Chitral Osama Warraich, Jamshed and his wife, on board crashed in Saddha Batolni village near Pakistan Ordinance Factory, Havelian, en routing to Islamabad from Chitral in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

PIA Spokesman Daniyal Gilani says there were 5 crew members with 42 passengers and one ground engineer on board. The pilot gave distress call before it went off the radar and crashed near the garrison town of Abbottabad, confirms PIA spokesperson. 31 men, 9 women and 2 infants on board the flight, claims the plane manifesto.

An official claims, that the debris of the plane is found, but there is no one injured all are dead. Secretary Aviation Irfan Ilahi confirmed that the ATR-42 turboprop plane suffered engine problems, but it would be premature to make any statement against the airline’s management. Aviation Herald,  Aviation Irfan Ilahi both confirmed that the ATR-42 had engine problems due to which the plane crash took place.

Inter-Services Public Relations said that they have mobilized army troops and  helicopters to the site of the crash. Six helicopters are being used at the site of the crash, operation on the recovery of debris of the airplane and all the dead bodies in the plane crash is been undertaking work is in a process, says Abid Ali, a senior official of the national disaster and management cell.
