In Germany, a hotel known as Prora is probably a world’s largest hotel. This beach resort in Germany has 10,000 rooms which are facing towards the sea. But this resort never had a single guest in past 80-years. There was a visitor except for a few refugees who used it at the time of second world war. The reason behind it is, no there are no ghosts but the reason is disturbing.
This is a unique hotel in Germany which is lying vacant for 70-80 years. Prora hotel is located on the island of Rugen in the Baltic Sea, and it was built by Nazis between 1936 and 1939. This project was given by none other than Adolf Hitler. Hitler wanted the “most mighty and large resort ever to have existed.” The resort which can accommodate 20,000-holiday makers at any time.
It is said that when the hotel construction was going on more than 9,000 workers and some top companies have worked. Then world war II started and the hotel was not completed with major blocks of theater, cinema, swimming pools. During the World war, some part of the building was used by the army and rest of the time; it is empty.
Now the project of that resort is reviewed, and the developers have planned to renew it in the new modern holiday resort.
The developers have planned to build hundreds of Holiday apartments with discos, hotels, sports halls, cafes, swimming pools. Now we just need to wait and watch what happens in the future. Will this resort get a makeover or not? Will it have guests in it
