Weight loss has now become a universal problem, and losing weight is way more difficult than gaining it. I tried a lot of things to shed the calories I had accumulated like green tea/coffee, warm water, and the list in never ending (unfortunately nothing helped.) Gym workout is a bit difficult for the lazy people in the crowd. On the other hand, if we opt for jogging and walking it is a bit difficult to continue. So I bring to you these five exercises which you can practice at home and tone your body.
1. Plank –
This exercise hurts a lot initially, but once you get habituated to it, it can do wonders to your body. It helps in improving your posture and carving your waistline by enhancing your core strength. Don’t stress your body by practicing a lot of it in one go, go slow.
2. Squats –
I love squats. It is a complete body workout which strengthens and tightens the muscles of your thighs, legs, hips and buttocks. It helps in integrating the size of your legs and buttocks and strength of your body. Carve your butts and legs with squats.
Something we loved to do as kids, best cardio workout which helps you shed more weight than running to burn around 1300 calories/hour, It is not at all difficult for us to skip for 10-15 minutes a day. It is a full body workout which helps you shed weight from different parts of your body (especially those flabby arms.)
4. Crunches –
It is one of the exercises for losing belly fat, and is called the abdominal workout. It strengthens your core, abdominal muscles, and posture. Regular practice can help you in losing weight faster. There are variations available in crunches.
Bicycle exercise is one of my favorites and is one of the simplest cardio workouts as it facilitates joint mobility, builds up inner strength, and helps in weight loss. You can easily do it at home. ( Regular practice does make you look fit.)
