Brett Lee‘s debut Bollywood film ‘UnIndian‘ now has a release date. According to a report in The Times of India, the romantic comedy starring Lee and Tannishtha Chatterjee will release on August 5. And the trailer of ‘UnIndian’ is out.
Australian fast bowler Brett Lee began shooting the film in October, 2014. Shooting wrapped up in April, 2015. This year, the film was screened at the 69th Cannes Film Festival. ‘UnIndian’ is directed by Australia-based Anupam Sharma, best known for directing documentary Indian Aussies: Terms & Conditions Apply, based on the lives of Indian Australians.
Brett Lee is starring in a movie called ‘UNindian’ opposite Tannishtha Chatterjee and trailer of his first movie is out. The film story of romance between an Indian single mother and an Australian teacher played by Brett Lee.

‘UnIndian’ is the story of the romantic relationship between Australian teacher Will (Brett Lee) and Indian single mother Meera (Tannishtha Chatterjee), whose family, along the larger NRI (Non-Resident Indian) community, finds it difficult to come to terms with the unlikely union.
Besides starring Gulshan Grover and Supriya Pathak in important supporting rules, the film also stars artistes from both India and Australia like Akash Khurana, John Howard, Pallavi Sharda, Tammy Bartaiya and Tiriel More.The music is being composed by Salim and Sulaiman.
Produced by Lisa Duff, Nitika Thakur and Sharma, the movie has been funded by Australia India Film Fund & Screen Australia and is being presented by Krian Media, which creates, produces, markets and distributes content across the world.
