One example of how one shouldn’t use the platform surfaced on Monday night when a man approached Swaraj to help him ‘get his refrigerator replaced’. But, instead of ignoring the man, she chose to reply and clarify how she wasn’t exactly the right person to help him with his fridge problem.
The user who uses just one name on Twitter ‘Venkat’ and tweets from the handle @M_VenkatM, tagged Ram Vilas Paswan and Sushma Swaraj in his tweet to complain about his faulty Samsung refrigerator.

“Dear Ministers, @Samsung_IN sold me a defective refrigerator, they r not ready to replace,” he wrote with a screenshot of the company’s response attached. Swaraj, who, in her career as Union External Affairs Minister, must have encountered many strange complaints, knew exactly how to handle this unique situation.
