Sushma Swaraj, External Affair Minister, has been praised much worldwide for her effective use of social media. On Sunday thought the minister was annoyed by the Twitter user. A Software developer tweeted to Swaraj requesting her for the transfer of her wife who is a railway employee in Jhansi.
Sushma Swaraj then replied to the Twitter user who sought helped for the transfer; the minister said that if he and his wife were a part of her Ministry, she would suspend for making such kind of request on social media.
Sushma Swaraj has brought this appeal to the railway minister Suresh Prabhu and to look into the IT’s professional request. And the railway minister then tweets that he is not responsible for the transfers.
The external affairs ministry has recently launched a Twitter Seva so that it is easy for the transparent and timely response to the citizens. This seven will support 198 Twitter accounts of Indian missions abroad and 29 regional passport offices.
