Virat Kohli has booked a flat in Mumbai‘s luxury apartment in Worli region. Virat has bought a 7,000 square feet sea-facing luxury flat worth Rs 34 crores. Virat’s flat is on the 35th floor of a luxury tower developed by Omkar Realtors & Developers.
The tower is most luxurious of total three towers in the project will also be home to cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who bought a similar configuration apartment on 29th floor in 2014. The move to shift base to the Maximum City may have come on the back of some quality time spent with alleged girlfriend Anushka Sharma.

After a successful IPL 9 leading his side Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to the final, Kohli has been spending a lot of time in Mumbai, whether it has to do with this charity work or holiday. An email query to Kohli’s spokesperson remained unanswered until the time of going to press. Omkar Realtors & Developers’ spokesperson declined to comment for the story.
The project surrounds three towers of 70 floors each and has over 400 sky bungalows ranging from 3,000 sq ft to 18,000 sq ft floor plate priced between Rs 15 crore to Rs 100 crore. Home-buyers in the project includes personalities from finance, banking, sports, gems & jewelry, education.
A source told Economic Times, “While the talks for buying the apartment have been going on for the last few months, the transaction has been concluded recently. While the apartment will be bare-shell, it can be customized into a lavish five-bedroom house.”
The company has already sold approximately 70% of its inventory in Omkar 1973. The developer would be delivering up to 30 floors of tower A by end-December 2016, while tower C, where Kohli has bought an apartment will be delivered mid-2018. Kohli and Yuvraj Singh will now be close to their idol Sachin Tendulkar, who lives in his 80-crore bungalow in nearby Bandra.
