A scriptwriter of The Kapil Sharma Show, Ram Abhishek Singh has been arrested for murder on Thursday in Mumbai’s Andheri West area. The UP police had been looking for Singh for seven years for the murder of two people in Azamgarh. He was living with a changed identity has managed to escape the police by using multiple aliases including Kera Singh, Rohit Singh, Baljinder Singh.
According to TOI report, The Uttar Pradesh government’s Special Task Force has reportedly arrested Ram Abhishek Singh in Mumbai for killing a rival from his village along with his uncle back in 2009. As per the report, Abhishek had a reward of Rs 30,000 on his head, while his uncle, who was arrested in 2011 from Gorakhpur was carrying a reward of Rs 50,000.
Ram Abhishek Singh, who has acted in the show, The Great Indian Family Drama, has been a scriptwriter for other serials as well and he was also working with the K-9 production house on a contract. Accused in a murder case in Mehazanpur, near a village of Azamgarh, in 2000, Ram Abhishek Singh has been living in Versova as a paying guest in Mumbai. He holds a degree in mass communication from Delhi and also MBA.
