The popular Pokemon Go is spreading among youngster of india like crazy. Showing concern regarding the same Shiv Sena today asked the Maharashtra government to issue precautionary guidelines on playing reality mobile game. Shiv Sena’s Neelam Gorhe demanded that online game Pokemon Go to be regulated in Maharashtra as the game is a safety hazard.
Neelam Gorhe told TOI, “Countries like US have taken steps to regulate its use as many accidents were reported while people were playing it. Not all issues can be resolved by banning them but youngsters have been seen stopping vehicles in the middle of the road to catch Pokemons, and this can cause accidents,” said Gorhe.
Neelam Gorhe said children wander into unprotected places while trailing Pokemon. They might also forget where they are at that moment. “In Indonesia, one person while playing the game reached an army base whereas in Kuwait the government has banned downloading the gaming App because it can cause important information going out,” the MLC said.
Neelam Gorhe taking note of her submission, chairman of the council Ramraje Nimbalkar directed the government to look into the issue and take necessary action.
