The actress were asked her reviews about the same, to which she has written a short piece in the Times Of India in reaction of inclusive of such kinds of books.
She said “I think having books like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter as part of the syllabus is a great move because it cultivates imagination and creativity at a young age. I thinks books like Little Women would also encourage respect towards women at a young age.Even Animal Farm should be included as it will teach the little ones to love and care for animals.”
But she was betrayed to a great extent on the misinterpretation of George Orwell’s work, written in 1945.

After a full day of trolling, Shilpa Shetty took twitter over her side to reveal her side of story. She accepted that she has never read any of these books, that she had recommended. Whilst I admire the writers of LOTR, Harry Potter & Animal Farm I’ve “NEVER” read these books, she said.
