Shah Rukh Khan will play the negative role in Dhoom 4

Aditya Chopra’s next sequel of Dhoom series may have Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role in Dhoom 4. There were reports earlier that Salman Khan might take on the villain role in the film, but he later rubbished the rumours. And now the name of Shah Rukh Khan is doing the rounds for the role. Aditya Chopra is keen to cast Shah Rukh Khan as the villain in the Dhoom series.

According to a report in DNA, “Shah Rukh has been approached by Chopra for D4. Talks about dates and remuneration are on. Salman was approached before SRK, but he’s very clear right now about not playing a negative character. Shah Rukh has done it in quite a few films before, so he has no reservations. Also, it’s not a baddie in the true sense of the word. Dhoom baddies are cool and stylish. It’s more in the Don space, which works for SRK.”

According to DNA, “Adi’s strategy worked with each Dhoom being bigger than the earlier one at the box-office In Dhoom Reloaded, while Ranveer will now be ACP Jai Dixit, Uday Chopra, who played Ali, will sit out of this project.”

Shah Rukh Khan will play the role of a bad guy in Aditya Chopra’s Dhoom 4.

In the first instalment of Dhoom series, we saw John Abraham essay the lead antagonist. Hrithik Roshan took over from John in the next while Aamir grabbed the role in the third. And now, Shah Rukh Khan will play as the villain in Dhoom reloaded.
