Filmmaker Karan Johar received a relief like situation or breather when the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on this Saturday allowed the release of his film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ but with a condition. All the producers who have or had employed Pakistani artists in to their film, video or song, must pay Rs 5 crore each into the Indian Army’s welfare fund as compensation. Many distributors and cinema owners have also come forward in support of the producer and his film.

Much disappointed and very angry by the fact Karan Johar had to lower himself down to the demands of  the political party known as Maharashtra Navnirman Sena for a smooth release of his film, Veteran actress, Shabana Azmi slammed the political party and also Maharashtra’s CM Devendra Fadnavis on twitter on 23rd of october 2016 which was yesterday. shabana took the matter to twitter and asked various questions to the cm of maharashtra on twitter.

MNS threats urged the director and producers guild association to approach higher authorities. Home Minister Rajnath Singh assured of full security to the producer despite of which Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis broke a deal between MNS chief Raj Thackeray and Karan Johar to lift up the ban and release the film on this 28th of october 2016 by fulfilling into MNS demands.

Shabana took to twitter and raised questioned about the current deal between the ADHM producer Karan Johar and MNS chief Raj Thackeray. She raised many questions like, if the rabble-rousing MNS is the one to decide about weather she is patriotic or not?
