Sania Mirza Feels Media Is Focusing More On Her Tax Notice And Not On Her Game

As last week we informed you that a Tennis Player Sania Mirza got a tax notice by the Central Board of Excise and Customs. On this news, Sani Mirza slams media for choosing to focus on tax notice news instead of focusing on her entry into the semi-finals of the ongoing Qatar Open.
Sania Mirza and Barbora Strycova from the Czech Republic has entered the women’s doubles last four stage and will take on American-Slovenian duo of Abigail Spears and Katarina Srebotnik later on Friday.
A Tennis player slammed media on Friday by Twitting, “Standing ovation to our amazing certain sections of media who haven’t bothered to write or report about me being in another semifinals of a tournament in Qatar, but heyyy there are 100 articles about ‘tax evasion’ which most of them don’t even understand properly.”

The service tax department has sent a notice to Sania and said to be present on 16th February in person or through representatives.

On her behalf, her accountant appeared on 16th February.
In her report, Mirza said the Rs 1 crore given to her by the Telangana government was a “training incentive”.
