Indian Cricketer Ishant Sharma is all set to join his other teammates by becoming a married man. The 28-year-old fast bowler will get married to Pratima Singh, basketball player, at a Delhi hotel on December 9, 2016. Sharma has been selected for the Indian squad that will face England in a five match Test series starting next week. The fourth Test of that series will be in Mumbai from Dec 8-12. Sources say that Ishant Sharma will skip the game and fly for his wedding and rejoin the India Cricket team for the final Test beginning on December 16, Chennai.
Pratima Singh plays for the Indian basketball team. She is the youngest of all five sisters and all of whom have represented our nation India internationally in basketball. The pair got engaged at a ceremony in Delhi in June 2016. Earlier it had been reported that the wedding might take place in Varanasi, soon to be bride’s hometown, but sources close to the family say that the wedding will be in Delhi. A few ceremonies on the bride’s side will take place in Varanasi. On Wednesday, the two families had visited Varanasi where the date for the wedding was finalized.
The wedding i planned right in the middle of India’s busiest cricket season in years, which means that it won’t be a star-studded function. Since most of sharma’s teammates will be playing in Mumbai at the time, it is unlikely they will attend his function. According to the sources ODI captain MS Dhoni, might attend accompanied by Ishant’s Delhi teammates.
