The chairperson of Reliance Industries and the Managing Director Mukesh Ambani is celebrating the success of Jio. In just 170 days 100 million customer mark has been crossed. Recently the news came that from 1st April, free video calls, free data usage will be ended and the new plans will be launched. Mukesh Ambani confirmed that the Jio Subscribers would be given a chance to continue with the new plan which is going to end on 31st March 2017. They can continue at cheap price of just Rs.99 for a full year with free 4G Volte data.
This plan will be continued by Jio Prime Members. Jio Prime membership will be only for Jio Subscribers for a limited time which is starting from 1st March to 31st March 2017. Mukesh Ambani said that Jio added seven customers every day in each second.
Ambani said in his speech that because of the rapid growth of Jio by consumers all around India, he thanked the hard work of 60,000 Jio employees. Around the country there is 10 lakh Jio retail partners, so now India has become the 1st global mobile data consumer in the world — ahead of USA and China.
Jio prime members can enjoy free services till March 2018, the new offer of Jio. For the use of New Year offer till 31st March, customers has to pay Rs 303 per month. The Jio Prime members can enroll it on My Jio or Jio.com, or nearby retails store in between 1st March to 31st March 2017.
