Rajasthan Home Minister in trouble for foul language against former PM Manmohan Singh

Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria using foul language while referring to former prime minister Manmohan Singh during a meeting of BJP workers in Churu on Sunday. The entire speech was captured on camera in which he used foul words eight times in 32 minutes that too in the presence of party workers and 6 state ministers.

Gulab Chand Kataria used the foul word for Narendra Modi’s predecessor during the speech and said, “Desh ka pradhan mantri pehle Manmohan Singh jab America utarta tha, toh sa** ko receive karne kay liye aira gaira nathu gaira mantri ja karke airport se leke ata tha. Lekin ab jab Hindustan ka pradhan mantri jab jata hai na, toh Obama swayam jata hai unki agwani karne ke liye.”

Gulab Chand Kataria speech soon started making the rounds on social media and has angered the Congress, which is demanding strict action against Kataria.

Gulab Chand Kataria, who was later contacted by The Indian Express, the whole incident, and apologised for the mistake.

“It was wrong. The word just came out while I was in the flow (of the speech). I certainly regret it. Even in Vidhan Sabha, if you ask the Opposition, I sometimes make such errors, but I do realise it.”


Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot also condemned Kataria’s derogatory remarks and tweeted, “Strongly condemn Rajasthan home minister’s derogatory remarks against the former prime minister… he should be sacked from his post. BJP’s leaders r shamelessly saying whatever they want. They hv literally crossed all the limits.”
