Prime Minister Narendra Modi salutes courage of soldiers, on Army Day.

Every year on 15 January it is Army Day. Today on Sunday 15 January 2017 is the occasion of 69 Army Day. On this occasion Our prime minister Narendra Modi has saluted the courage and invaluable service of our Indian Army. PM Narendra Modi said he is proud of all the soldiers who are ready to sacrifice their lives for the nation.
Prime minister Narendra Modi greeted the Army Day to all the soldiers on Twitter. Modi said in a tweet, Greetings to all soldiers, veterans and their families on Army Day. We salute the courage and invaluable service of the Indian Army“.

PM Modi even said that, We remember with great pride all the sacrifices made by our Army. They put their lives at risk so that 125 crore Indians live peacefully. Indian Army always leads from the front, be it in protecting the sovereignty of our nation or helping citizens during natural disasters”.
On Sunday morning at India Gate all the three service chiefs paid tributes at the Amar Jawan Jyoti. The three chiefs were Army chief General Bipin Rawat, chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba and Air chief Marshal BS Dhanoa.

Army Day is noticed to recall the appointment of later Field Marshal Lt.Gen. In 1949 KM Cariappa was the first Indian Commander in chief of the Indian Army.

Salute to all the soldiers who are sacrificing everything for all of us to stay peacefully.
