Playboy model Pamela Anderson recently wrote an article in the Wall Street Journal and the article talks about hazard of pornography on men. Pamela Anderson has teamed with a Rabbi Shmuley Boteach to speak out against pornography. She said pornography is for losers and warned about pornography’s corrosive effects on a man’s soul and on his ability to function as husband and, by extension, as father.

An opinion piece by Pamela Anderson and Rabbi Shmuley Boteach published by the Wall Street Journal cites the latest sexting scandal involving former Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner in calling for “an honest dialogue” about the dangers of pornography and “an honor code to tamp it down.”

Pamela Anderson wrote, “This is a public hazard of unprecedented seriousness given how freely available, anonymously accessible and easily disseminated pornography is nowadays.

Pamela Anderson reports that men who access pornography go on to lead “less satisfactory intimate lives with their wives or girlfriends as a result of the consumption.

Pamela Anderson also wrote, “The march of technology is irreversible and we aren’t so naive as to believe that any kind of imposed regulation could ever reseal the Pandora’s box of pornography. What is required is an honest dialogue about what we are witnessing  the true nature and danger of porn and an honour code to tamp it down in the collective interests of our well-being as individuals, as families and as communities.
