A suspended AAP MP Harinder Singh Khalsa accused Bhagwant Maan for attending the Parliament drunk. Harinder Singh Khalsa says he can’t sit next to Bhagwant Mann as he stinks of alcohol. Khalsa said his seat number was 495 and the occupant of 496 Bhagwant Maan often came to the Parliament House drunk. The Speaker confirmed receiving Khalsa’s application and said she was looking into it.
“I am a Sikh and it hurts my religious sentiments when Bhagwant Mann sits tipsy next to me. I request you to change my seat,” Khalsa wrote to the Speaker. Khalsa even added “I have not made any complaint but have urged the Speaker and requested her to change my seat”
Mann accused Khalsa of defaming him. “Why was he was quiet for so long? Seeing me cornered today, he tried to settle a score related to his suspension from the party. I will lodge a counter-complaint and sue him,” he said. The speaker has started looking into the charges.
Mann is currently facing the heat for uploading a video on Facebook that has compromised the Parliamentary security. Politicians demanded Mann to be penalized for streaming on social media the video showing various layers of screening and checks.
