Mouni Roy slapped her co-host Rithvik Dhanjani on the sets of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. Mauni and Rithvik were reportedly having fun while shooting one of the episodes. Suddenly, Mouni slapped Rithvik just to add a fun element to the show. But her act left Rithvik with a swollen face, sense which he had to finish shooting for the rest of the show.

According to source, In the upcoming episode of the dance shoe, participants had to use props to support their dance act. One of the contender has used a mannequin as the prop. Mouni Roy as an attempt to add fun to the episode used the dummy hand to hit Rithvik Dhanjani. However, she was unaware of its weight and the slap ended up with a noticeable mark on Rithvik’s face. For the uninitiated, ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ is a version of the popular international dance reality show of the same name. Madhuri Dixit, Terence Lewis and Bosco Martis are the judges of the show. The bi-weekly show (aired on Saturday & Sunday) is produced by Deepak Dhar’s Endemol India.

In other news, Mouni Roy‘s popular show “Naagin” came to an end on Sunday, June 5. Talking about the success of the supernatural show, Mouni Roy told the Times of India, “Every song ends, but it doesn’t mean that you don’t enjoy it while it’s playing. It was a roller-coaster ride. The show was tough, but the returns have been big.”

Mouni Roy also said she was initially unsure about being a part of the show when it was offered to her. “I was torn between doing it and not doing it. Before this, I had done ‘Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev’ , where I played a goddess. Though Naagin is not a mythological but a fantasy fiction show, I wasn’t sure if I should keep working in this genre where I play a non-human character. But then I thought that it was the first time that a show like this was being made and that too on such a grand scale. Plus it was a finite series. So the first time I went for the narration, I knew I had to do it.”
