Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Director Karan Johar has finally got relief from MNS on the ban of ADHM as they had earlier opposed the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ because of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, following the Uri attacks. The party workers also protested about the same and even warned theaters against the screening of the film.
So, recently Karan Johar, Mukesh Bhatt and Raj Thackeray met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his residence in Mumbai earlier today ver the release of movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Karan Johar and Raj Thackeray came face to face to sort out their issues regarding the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Karan Johar was also accompanied by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Mukesh Bhatt and Sajid Nadiadwala have also accompanied Karan Johar.
Talking about the outcome of the meeting between Karan Johar and Raj Thakrey, the MNS said that they will not oppose the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil if Karan Johar would agree to show a tribute clip in the starting of the movie which will honor the martyrs and along with that a part of the box-office collections should also be donated to the Army Relief Fund, ANI reported on Saturday.
Now, things seem to be in the favor of Karan Johar after the meeting with MNS chief Raj Thackeray and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis today went all smoothly as MNS Chief assured CM and Karan Johar that they will not oppose the release of the film. Here you can also read the official statement of Karan Johar before the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil “Won’t Work With Pakistani Artistes Hereafter……”
Earlier this week, Bhatt also met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss the banning issues of the film as recently in the wake of MNS’ threat, the Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) had also called for a ban on ADHM.
We are happy that ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ will release as scheduled after Raj Thackeray, Karan Johar and Devendra Fadnavis meeting comes with positive results.
