1. Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan worked with a shipping firm called Shaw Wallace as an executive. Then, he worked as a freight broker at a shipping firm, Bird and Co. He also tried being a radio announcer but he was rejected by All India Radio.

2. Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

He worked as a chemist and later moved to Delhi and worked as a watchman for one and half years. Then, he joined the National School Of Drama.

3. Boman Irani.

He used to be a waiter and room attendant at Taj Mahal Palace hotel in Mumbai. He also used to help his mother in their ancestral bakery shop.

4. Ranveer Singh.

Ranveer Singh was a copywriter at premium ad agencies like O&M and JWT. He had made his debut in YRF’s Band Bajaa Barat and there is no looking back for him since then.

5. Rajinikanth.

Rajinikanth used to work as a bus conductor for Banglore Transport Service (BTS). He started doing stage plays after he was offered a mythological play penned by Kannada play writer and director Topi Munappa.

These actors have come a long way now and they are at this place because of their sheer dedication.
