And at the IPL 2016 opening ceremony, to be held on today at the Dome – the National Sports Club of India Stadium in Worli, Mumbai, some of the best national and international stars will perform. Fans can watch performances by Bollywood and international celebrities as the tickets have gone live online. The opening ceremony will start at 7.30 pm.
The opening ceremony of an event as big as the IPL, which are performances by English bands, and Bollywood celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Jacquline Fernandez, and Yo Yo Honey Singh. American rapper Chris Brown, Major Lazer, the American dancehall reggae trio, Fuse ODG, the English rapper, and American-Jamaican artist Nailah Thorbourne are scheduled to set the stage on fire today night.

The first IPL 2016 match will be held between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants, the new team headed by M S Dhoni. The IPL 2016 first match will take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on April 9, 2016.
