Ravindra Jadeja has been ranked as the world’s top-ranked bowler and all-rounder by the International Cricket Council. Jadeja could not control his emotions and expressed his thankfulness towards M.S. Dhoni and Virat Kohli. He has left behind Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh and has become the best all rounder for the first time.

Jadeja thanked Virat and Dhoni and all other members and players of the Indian team through his social networking handle of twitter by writing, My humble journey 2 be #1 Test AllRounder & bowler was possible due to 2 @msdhoni @imVkohli, my fans & family.”

The Indian team captain Kohli reverted to Jaddu’s humble gesture and tweeted: “Big Congratulations to our sword master Mr Jadeja for becoming the Number 1 test all rounder with @ashwinravi99. Well done Jaddu! @imjadeja.”

Jadeja has managed to make it to the first rank by securing 438 points, whereas Shakib has a total of 431 points and Avicharan Ashwin is in the third position with 418 points. Jadeja has been discarded from the Indian team for the third and the final test match of the ongoing series by the ICC as he has got 6 demerit points in a tenure for 24 months.

Axar Patel has taken Jadeja’s place in the team. Isn’t it a good news for all the cricket fans?
