Jackie Chan and his cast & crew of upcoming Indo-Chinese film ‘Kung Fu Yoga‘ were spotted shooting for the film at Mansingh Palace of Amber Fort on Sunday. The shooting unit has set up a local market inside the palace premises. Jackie Chan will reportedly begin shooting on March 23. Jackie Chan will stay in the Jaipur for 15 days where actors Sonu Sood and Amyra Dastur too will join the Chinese superstar and later they will head to Beijing for the next schedule. This is not the first time ‘The Legend of Drunken Master’ star will be visiting India. He paid a visit to the country in 2013 and earlier has even collaborated with India Bollywood beauty Mallika Sherawat in his 2005 film ‘The Myth’.
It is reported that the Hindi film stars have performed some adrenalin-pumping action sequences for the movie. Directed by Stanley Tong, the action comedy film is also shot here and Iceland. Sonu Sood says he will join the martial arts movie star, who will be shooting a schedule in India and then will be proceeding to Beijing.
Sonu Sood Says:
“I am going to join him next week in India and then we are going to Beijing…October release. Fingers crossed.”
“Kung Fu Yoga is a part of the three-film agreement signed between the two countries during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to India.”
Sonu Sood, who was last seen on the silver screen in the 2015 film ‘Gabbar Is Back’, says the ‘Rush Hour’ actor is one of the “most humble and hardworking actor”.
Farah Khan will be choreographing a grand Bollywood item number featuring Jackie Chan, Sonu Sood, Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur for Chan’s Movie Kung Fu Yoga.
Says a source, “For the first time Jackie Chan will incorporate a song in his film and Sonu persuaded him to do so. Sonu also asked Jackie to get Farah to choreograph the lavish song which will be shot in India, China and some other countries. It was also conveyed to Jackie that Indians love Bollywood music in their films. Jackie is expected to fly down by April to shoot for it. It will be a Hindi-English song and will have Indian dancers flown to China and wherever else they will shoot the song, which includes shooting at The Jodhpur Palace in Rajasthan. Jackie will don an Indian look with a bright red kurta, green mojris and a dhol around his neck. After shooting in Jodhpur, they will fly to Beijing for the next part of the song.”
