A Slovakian foreigner girl married to a Maharashtrian boy in an underwater ceremony in Kerela. You can’t accept it but it indeed happened, and the pictures were so beautiful. The girl name is Eunika who is 23-year-old got married to her fiance Nikhil Pawar on Thursday. The wedding took place at Kerala’s Grove Beach both of them went into the deep blue Arabian sea nearly 4 meters underwater.
In India, this underwater wedding is the first wedding happened like this, and it is like a fairy-tale story. The wedding was dreamy, and the wedding was of 90 minutes. Nikhil Pawar‘s marriage was exciting for him as he works as a driver at Kovalam. Pawar talked with the news reporters and said, after they had come out of the water he felt like a dream come true to get married inside the water. His bride Eunika said. First, she was bit nervous, but then she enjoyed it.
The wedding was organized by Bond Ocean Safari. They said in West underwater weddings are popular, but in India it’s limited. They even said this is the first wedding which happened in the sea.
Eunika wore a white wedding gown at the Vast Arabian Sea. When they went under water, she wore a diving gear on her gown. In a charming way, Nikhil and Eunika said their vows. Their friend became a priest.
After saying their vows, they exchanged their rings and garlands. It was a Christian wedding. Then they kissed each other when the priest told them.
On Monday both of them went for a dive there, he proposed Eunika in a sweet way. When they went for a dive he took out a placard on it; it was written ‘Will you marry me?’ Eunika said yes then and there. Both of them met at Kovalam just a few months ago; she is a political science student.
Before getting married under the water, both of them had a training of two days. They will also have a traditional wedding in Slovakia, in a few weeks.
