Indian cricket team fast bowler Ishant Sharma said that he knows he has not performed well in short formats of cricket, especially in T20s. Ishant Sharma is currently preparing for India’s four-Test series against the West Indies, Ishant also admitted that he has done well in Test cricket and this is one format he can keep doing better.
Ishant Sharma told bcci.tv in interview, “You have to be honest to yourself and that makes it easier for you to accept things. I have to accept that I didn’t do well in shorter formats. But I am doing well in Tests and so I know what my strengths are. It’s important to know what your strengths are.”
Talking about strength, comparing himself with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, ” Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s strength is swing but he can’t extract the bounce like I can do. Similarly, I can’t get the ball to swing like Bhuvi,” said Ishant Sharma.
