Parthiv Patel returns to Test match after a gap of 8-years. While, wicket-keeper  Wriddhiman Saha is still recovering from the strain in his left thigh, Patel replaces him in the fourth test match again in Mumbai where India plays against England. On December 8, the match will take place in Wankhede Stadium.On Tuesday, According to a statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India, “Saha had injured his left thigh in second test match in Vishakapatnam”.

In Mohali, with his comeback after eight years, left a great impression on the team management with scores of 42 and 67 in his both innings respectively. The 31-year-old Gujarat player not only his innings in the match was the highlight, he even take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. Ishant Sharma has been given release for his wedding after he being part of the first-three test series of India v/s Engalnd.

A BCCI statement said,“Parthiv Patel will continue to be part of the Paytm Test series to be held on December 8, 2016 for the 4th test match in Indian Test team. The BCCI medical team has been taking care of Saha, and has advised him to take rest. The team management will make changes to the spin-heavy bowling combination seems unlikely in the Mumbai test series match.

While, Parthiv Patel has a comeback as a wicket-keeper, Ishant sharma has been released from the Indian squad.
