Lal Chand Yadav from a Greater Noida was at work on Tuesday, there he got a call from his daughter’s school saying that his 7-year-old daughter is not well and getting a headache so take her home from the school. Again in half an hour, he got another call saying him that his girl Ghazal is being taken to hospital as she is bleeding from the nose. As soon as he reached the hospital, the doctors said to Mr. Yadav that his daughter is no more.
A girl was injured during karate session on Tuesday in the DPS World School in Noida Extension. According to the reports in The Hindu, Ghazal Yadav got was injured in her head and fell on the floor. Then she was bleeding from her nose and mouth, she was taken to the hospital, but she died before getting any treatment.
Lal Chand Yadav is a general manager with Asentech India Private Limited. They live in Steller Jeevan apartment in Greater Noida. Ghazal’s parents said she was injured in karate session and the school did not have any medical facility.
Ghazal’s parents allege that she was injured during a karate training session in the school and that the school had no medical safeguards or facilities.
Lal Chand said in the email to ScoopWhoop, “The school made the first call to her mother who’s a housewife. In the first call, they said Ghazal (sic) is having a headache and either you pick her up or we will drop her home.” He added in the mail, “After 10 minutes, her mother received another call saying that she is suffering from a severe headache and we (school) are taking her to the hospital and asked her father to be in the hospital. Her father reached the hospital within 10 minutes of receiving this information, but the doctor said she has passed away on her way to the hospital. School management stated that she started bleeding from her nose on her way to the hospital in the ambulance”.
Yadav said to ScoopWhoop news on the telephone conversation, We haven’t heard anything from the school, as we are her family we have a right to know what happened to our daughter. We are going to meet the school authorities. Police have filed a FIR, and they will look into the CCTV camera of the school.
According to the Times Of India, the teacher from the school has said that Ghazal was in Karate Uniform, but she was not practicing in the karate class. Till now the school authorities has not given any statement on this incident, and the principal has not given any comment for this. After this incident, the school was closed on Wednesday.
