Today Pakistan take on an in form Bangladesh in their opening clash of the ICC World Twenty20 at the Eden Gardens. Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka in their warm up game on Monday are looking set to avenge their Asia Cup loss against Bangladesh. Pakistan cricket team will have their task cut out when they take on a spirited Bangladesh in their opening World T20 Group 2 contest at the Eden Gardens. Bangladesh topped their group in the qualifying round by beating the Netherlands and Oman. Their game against Ireland in Dharamsala was rained out. But in both matches they won, Bangladesh impressed in every department.

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza said today that his team at the ICC World Twenty20 Super 10 match against Pakistan in the “memorable” because he wants to play at Eden Gardens after 26 years.

Mashrafe Mortaza said:

“We are all very excited. It is one of the world’s largest stadiums.We want to do well and want to make it memorable. ”

“We have never played here.”

“the top all rounder Shakib Al Hasan , on which they depend to get here about the situation because they have played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL.”

“Shakib is a key player for us during the past 7-8 years. He is always special. We have him to gain information about the conditions here will help.”

While sharing their memories of the match Mortaza said, “I still remember we beat Pakistan in 1999 and during this period I was trying to get into the team. Bangladesh cricket team it was time to change. “Murtaza Kolkata need support from the audience. The captain said that he hopes to score well against Oman Tamim Iqbal will perform well. Tamim, Bangladesh was the first Twenty20 century.
