In Doddballapur, out of Bangalore Rakesh Shukla has 3.5-acre farmland it is a safe place for all kinds of dogs even they are sick, healthy, cute, not cute. Anyone who is not having a place to live they are welcome in his farmland. Whenever Rakesh notice a dog on the street he just brings the dog to his farmhouse. Mr.Shukla’s first dog was Kavya, the Golden Retriever who was 45-day-old and the second dog was Lucky, he saved him from the street.
Mr. Shukla treats all the dogs as his own babies and even calls himself their ‘papa'(Father). As the time passed the dogs kept growing and he can’t keep them at his house or office so for them he bought a land and built a farmhouse for his babies(Dogs).

Some animal activists came to him and they tried to close this centre but Mr. Shukla never give up. “I’VE MADE A PACT WITH MY DOGS. WE WILL PART ONLY WHEN ONE OF US KICKS THE BUCKET.”
