Missing the 90’s era of Bollywood Hindi films which cannot be replaced ever. From Sunny Deol to Karishma Kapoor we followed everyone with their exotic charisma on screen. Being a 90’s kid I can proudly say whatever the 70 mm screen made me watch was full of art and talent which is not everyone’s cup of tea. Here’s a list of the Bollywood movies which are always missed and which shouldn’t be remade at any cost.
1. Dil toh Pagal Hai (1997).
Dil toh Pagal Hai was a romantic movie starring the three famous actors of Bollywood cinema. The King of Romance Shahrukh Khan shared the screen with Madhuri Dixit and Karishma Kapoor. The film had romance and friendship emotions and was a big hit at the Box office for a very long time.
2. Border (1997)
The Border film was a very special movie which featured many actor and actress, and some even had their debut film as Border. It was a movie based on soldiers and a war which took place in 1971 between the India-Pakistan. It was the highest grossing films of that time in the film industry. The border is always seen on Television till date.
3. Coolie No.1 (1995)
Who does not love Govinda? His charm and dance have a very different style of his own which no one can copy ever. This movie was a comedy movie where they fall in love after a lot of trial by Govinda on Karishma. Amitabh Bachchan has also done a movie on Coolie before. It’s a classic film and has been the favorites of Indian film history.
4. Baadshah (1999)
Shahrukh Khan has so many names, and one of them was given after this film released and went a big hit at the Box office. Baadshah where SRK romance with Twinkle Khanna now a writer earned a Film Fare Award nomination for the Best Performance in a Comic Role. It was inspired by various other International mainstream films.
5. Chachi 420 (1997)
No one can forget the most famous and one only Chachi of Bollywood. Kamal Hassan who himself directed the movie and was the Chachi in the movie playing two roles simultaneously which was a difficult job. This movie can never be forgotten acting drama leaves a great impact for years in mind.
6. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992)
A movie which meant so right He who wins is the king. The plot of the movie was similar to the 1979 American movie Breaking Away. This was one of the best movies of Aamir Khan till date it had even won the Filmfare Awards. It was then remade in various regional languages after being a hit at the Box office.
7. Raja Hindustani (1996)
Raja Hindustani starring Aamir Khan and Karishma Kapoor had one of the best scripts at that time which made the movie so popular that people can never forget such movies. Epic movies like this went five times and won all the nomination of Filmfare Awards. A small town girl who fell in love with a rich girl a story irreplaceable.
