There are sentiments and emotions found in every Bollywood song. Out of showing the emotions, some of the most popular songs of 90’s had become very vulgar if we listen to them carefully now, we wonder how they ever got past the censor board. Here are some of the most vulgar Bollywood Songs Of The 90s that have gained popularity only for their sleazy picturization and creepy lyrics.

1. “Choli Ke Peeche”

This hot number from the film ‘Khalnayak’ was a hit song surely but had a lot of double meaning in its lyrics. The song which goes “Choli ke peeche kya hai, chunari ke niche kya hai” surely lacks sophistication.

2. “Sarkaylo Khatiya”

The number from ‘Raja Babu’, we see Govinda and Karisma dancing to this dirty song. The line of Karisma which goes ‘Jada mein balma pyara lage, sui chubhe koi shola sa badke,” surely does set a lot on fire but is vulgar too.

3. “Chad Gaya Upar Re”

This song is from the film ‘Dalaal’ where we see Mithun Chakroborty with Ayesha Julka dancing on the haysack and love blooming between them. Along with the lyrics, “Chad gaya upar re,atariya pe lotan kabootar re’, the dancers too present a very vulgar picturisation of the song.

4. “Sexy Sexy”

The song from the film ‘Khuddar’ received violent protests ,for which the censor board ordered the word ‘sexy’ to be immediately replaced with the word ‘baby baby’. A hot number, where we see Karisma Kapoor in her bold moves, is surely another unrefined song of the 90s.

5. “Gup Chup Gup Chup”

This movie ‘Karan Arjun’ was a hit at the box office, but the peppy number “Gup Chup Gup Chup” has Mamta Kulkarni dancing with villain of the film, Amrish Puri to distract their attention when the heroes of the film are trying to carry out their plan secretly against them. In this song, Mamta Kulkarni describes the night spent with her ‘behnoyi’(brother –in-law/sister’s husband)is another vulgar song of the 90s.

6. “Tu Ru Tu Ru”

Another dirty song from the movie ‘Elaan’ , we see Akshay Kumar and Madhoo dancing around the tree where Akshay keeps asking “Kahan se karu mein pyar shuru”does reflect the tawdry quality of the song.

7. “Angoor Ka Dana”

This song is from the film ‘Sanam Bewafa’ which has lyrics that goes “Angoor ka daana hun,sui na choobho dena, sui jo chuboi tohras tapkega,jo ras tapkega toh kismis ban jaungi” is really insane and cheap.

8. “Rukmani Rukmani”

This song is from the film ‘Roja’. Though A.R. Rehman got all the accolades for his first Bollywood venture through this song, yet the lyrics of the song are very vulgar. The lyrics goes like “rukmani rukmani, shaadi ke baad kya kya hua, Kaun haara kaun jeeta, khirki main se dekho zara”. These lines surely reflect a lot of vulgarity in them.

9. “Main Maal Gaadi”

A Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla starrer film named ‘Andaz’,has a song with cheap lyrics “signal hara de diya ab tu soche kya,ye maal gaadi, yeh maal gaadi tu dhakka laga”.

10. “In The Night No Control”

A song from ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’, the line which says “touch me kuch toh karo, lets do it together, has the unmatched pairing of Akshay Kumar and Rekha dancing under the shower after they have fun playing in the mud.

11. “Din Mein Leti Hai”

A song from ‘Amanat’, it has lyrics like “chaat pe leti hai ,kamre mein leti hai, bistar mein leti hai, khule aam leti hai.” Can anybody really enjoy a song with such wordings?

Songs are meant to be enjoyed listening to, danced on and to help you go down memory lane. Not cringe.

Now we are sure the lyricists didn’t intend a single double meaning in their songs, and it’s just our dirty mind. Otherwise dear old Censor Board would have definitely raised a finger. Comment below and let us know about any other song that you want us to add in the list.
