The struggle of two Dera Sacha Sauda female followers has ended as the rapist Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been prisoned for 20 years. The CBI court has declared 20 years long jail sentence.
Earlier there were reports that Ram Rahim is getting VIP treatment in the jail from police. But after he reached the jail after completing all the formalities things were very clear. The victim Gurmeet Ram Rahim didn’t get any VIP benefit and had an environment and facilities just like other prisoners in Rohtak jail.
It was said that Gurmeet had a very depressed day 1 in the jail. He spent the time without AC and drank the regular water. There was no bed and no personal attendant and he complained about the back pain. When informed about his back pain, the reports said, he drank only milk and ate very less food.
Now, almost a week is completed in the jail, there are more reports came out. They say that the law has confirmed that sentence of Gurmeet continues to remain hard.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim Earns Rs. 40 Per Day As A Gardener In Jail
The officers of the jail have counseled Ram Rahim to do a job. The two option of work was given either of working as a jail gardener or in a jail factory. And Gurmeet has chosen to work as a gardener in the jail area and will be paid Rs. 40 per day.
However, Gurmeet’s behavior has totally changed in the jail. Ram Rahim is not talking to anyone in the jail not even with numberdaars. Many times he has been noticed talking to walls, his mental health has been little weak. Ram is not eating much food except fruits and mineral water from the jail canteen. The activist of Dalit, Swaraj Kirad who was in the Rohtak jail till Friday said, Ram was the center of attraction for other inmates.
Gurmeet’s presence is taking a charge on other inmates because of security reasons. All others are sent inside their cells when Ram is taken out.
The trial of the two murder cases on Gurmeet has also reached the final stages. Apart from that, a case of castration of his followers is also being probed by CBI.
The decision on these cases will be announced soon. We hope the decision will give justice!!
