Union Minister Nitin Gadkari‘s daughter Ketki’s wedding was a more of a political affair. On Sunday, 4th December, in Nagpur Nitin Gadkari’s daughters wedding had a big guest list and a big fat wedding planned like her two elder brothers. Unfortunately, the expectation was about 50 Chartered planes to ferry VVIPs for his daughter’s wedding, out of which only 10-12 were noted on the Nagpur airport.
Top dignities included, like Cabinet colleagues Rajnath Singh and Venkaiah Naidu, BJP president Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, MNS president Raj Thackeray, Union Ministers Maneka Gandhi, Assam Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Prakash Javadekar, Hansraj Ahir and Piyush Goyal, yoga guru Baba Ramdev and senior NCP leader Praful Patel these all were the VVIP’s list.
Chartered flights cancelled for the wedding at the eleventh hour.
Nagpur airport authorities said that they were accepting 50 chartered flights but reported only 28 flights on the big day. Demonetization had an effect in minor details of the wedding but went unnoticed in the wedding as guest list went long. Mr Gadkari’s daughter Ketki, is the youngest child of all the three children, she ties the knot with Aditya Kaskhedikar, who works with Facebook in the US.
