Goa police reported FIR against Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussane Khan in cheating case

The Goa police registered FIR against Hrithik Roshan‘s ex-wife Sussane Khan on Saturday on the charge of falsely projecting herself as an architect to secure a contract with a company. The company claims that they made a payment of Rs 1.87 crore to her in 2013.

Complainant Mudhit Gupta, who is the managing partner of real estate firm Emgee Properties has accused Sussane Khan of falsely projecting herself as an architect to secure a contract with the company. In September 2013, the company executed a written contract with her for architectural and designing services.

Hritik Roshan’s ex-wife and designer Sussane Khan has been booked by the Panaji Police in an alleged Rs. 1.87 crore cheating case.

Hrithik Roshan‘s ex-wife Sussane in a statement said in a statement issued to Mid-Day, “The said complaint is motivated and preposterous and has been only filed to intimidate me and pressurize me to withdraw the arbitration proceedings initiated by me in the first instance to recover my dues and damages resulting from the breach of contract.”

Sussane also added, “I am going to take the arbitrarily proceedings to the logical conclusion and instead of getting intimidated will respond to the frivolous charge in the most befitting way possible. Such wild allegations do not scare me. Rather it encourages me to stand and respond. The allegations are false and defamatory and I will take the appropriate action in accordance with the law.”

The case was filed on June 9 under section 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code. Managing partner of Emgee Properties Mudhit Gupta mention that Sussane Khan had entered a contract with the firm for a project and was disbursed Rs 1.87 crore with the belief that she is a professional in the field.

The firm had also asked her to show her registration details with the Council of Architecture. Sussane Khan allegedly was resident to reveal details about her registration and the firm eventually learnt that she was not registered with the council. The police are now investigating the case and have reportedly sought documents from Sussanne’s address in Andheri.

The project concerned is Emgee Properties’ Naira Complex being constructed at Siridao in Tiswadi, North Goa. Advocate Arun Bras de Sa said that as the police were resistant to file an FIR in the case, they approached the court seeking a direction to the police. But, before the court could issue directions the police filed the FIR.
