When the actor came to know about his 4 year old son Ayan is diagnosed with cancer, Emraan was shattered and that was the time when he called his uncle Mahesh Bhatt to inform him about the incident. Mahesh Bhatt was a strong support to Hashmi. But the actor didn’t lose hope because he had to be strong for his son and he left no stone upturned to make his son fit and fine.
Ayan underwent a surgery in a Mumbai hospital and later he took his son to Toronto for further treatment.
