The anti-Pakistani affair which started after Uri attack with banning of Pakistani artist performing in India. The brunt of the attack has to be faced by the EDM band Kerwalla who perform in Sunburn Festival. Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf both sisters from Illinois who are Pakistani based perform the popular dance duo Krewella. After one to other the Indians have been attacking exploring the Pakistani talent.
The Yousaf sisters had performed in 2014 and became famous but this year it seems that they are not going to get the opportunity of performing in Sunburn Festival in Pune. Sunburn every year was in Goa but this year the venue has changed to Pune with this there are many other changes in the music festival. The reason why the sisters will not be able to perform this year in Sunburn is the Indian Govt has denied passing their Visa for India. The Pakistani-American artiste’s visa is denied due to Pakistani heritage.
The Pakistani sisters after knowing about the issue took the help of Internet the strongest medium in this generation. They tweeted on Twitter asking help from their fans to support them in fighting for their right to perform in the Festival. Since the situation within both the countries has turned into a Cold War, they seem to become the targets of it which aren’t fair.
