A video of a drunk woman physically assaulting police officers at a police station in Mumbai. The video, Caught on camera from Worli police station, is dated June 15 when the accused was arrested for drunk driving. Allegedly, around 2 am on June 15, a 21-year-old rammed her car onto the divider and later hit the footpath near Podar Hospital, Worli in an inebriated state. The accused was later identified as Gauri Bhide.
A video of a drunk woman thrashing Mumbai police cops in police station is going viral on social media.
The car was spotted by a police patrolling van who approached them to check on the passengers. After investigating, After investigating, the police learnt that Gauri Bhide and three fellow passengers, including a minor, were in an inebriated state. When the group was brought to the Worli police station, the drunk 21-year-old student started lashing out at cops.
The woman physically abused the police officers by slapping, kicking and hurling abuses at them while her friends tried to hold her back. The daily reported that the girl also damaged police property by pulling the wires out of a computer, breaking window panes and damaging the mobile phones of officers in the police station.
While three other student were arrested, the 17-year-old was detained. Additional charges of drunk driving and assaulting police officers were pressed against Gauri Bhide, while the rest were booked for destroying public property. They were charged under Sections 279, 332, 353, 427 and 34 of the IPC and held in police custody for a night.
