Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, the leader of opposition parties termed the development as an attack on the federal system. Today, Parliament the Lok Sabha, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said that the exercise by army has been carried out for past several years as same. Not only the state of West Bengal even the North-East and other states all over the country carry the periodic intervals for operational reasons.

Indian Army won against the raging of corruption happening, and proved Mamta Banerjee wrong with the Trinamool government. The letters of acknowledgement have been revealed by the Army officials to the Parliament of the opposition party by the Trinamool Govt of deploying the army to stand at the tolls  booths polls. Normally, the Army exercise is carried out twice a year, throughout the country.

Unfortunate, that the political rivarly is dragging the Army by Mamta Banerjee’s ‘political frustration’.

BSP minister Maywati, opposition party of the ruling BJP party united with Mamata Banerjee backing up the matter, exclaims ” Army is needed in the state, but army comes with the permission of the state, this is an attack on the federal structure. The opposition parties has been given tough answers by Army personnel showing them letters in communication with the West Bengal police gathering the statistical data about load carriers that could be made available to the Army in case of a contingency.

“Baseless” calls the army to Mamta Banerjee’s protest as they have all the proof of them exercising their duty since a long time.  Army’s officiating GoC of Bengal area, Major Gen Sunil Yadav addressed a press conference were all exercise announcement had been made a week ago on Nov 24.
