West Indies Cricketer Chris Gayle has named his daughter ‘Blush‘. The West Indies and Royal Challengers Bangalore superstar batsman Gayle became a dad this week and is missing a few IPL games to be with his partner Natasha Berridge in Jamaica. Gayle announced the arrival of his daughter on Thursday through an Instagram post that pictured him and his partner Natasha Berridge. However, what caught the most eyeballs in the post was the part where he announced the name of his daughter.
Chris Gayle wrote: “We would like to welcome the arrival of our beautiful daughter ‘Blush’ to this world 2 hours ago, Thank God.
“#GoodHealth&Strength – The greatest gift and feelings anyone would want.”
Chris Gayle came under heavy criticism when he tried to flirt with a female TV presenter during the Big Bash League in 2015 and faced a fine of $10,000 by Cricket Australia for his remarks.
Mel McLaughlin, a reporter with the official broadcaster of the league, interviewed Gayle shortly after he was dismissed against the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League. She asked the batsman on his aggressive batting to which he replied: “I wanted to come and have an interview with you as well.”
Chris Gayle said, “That’s the reason why I’m here, just to see your eyes for the first time. It’s nice so. Hopefully we can win this game and have a drink after. Don’t blush, baby.”
Chris Gayle left his Indian Premier League club Royal Challengers Bangalore to fly back to the Carribean to be with his partner for the birth of his first child ‘Blush’.
