Chandan Prabhakar might quit ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ for Ekta Kapoor’s latest ‘The Indian Mazak League’

Chandan Prabhakar, who is Kapil Sharma’s best friend may quit his ‘The Kapil Sharma Show‘. The reason behind that is Chandan might be doing Ekta Kapoor’s latest comedy reality show ‘The Indian Mazak League’.

TV queen Ekta Kapoor, who is known for producing successful daily soaps is now gearing up to produce a comedy reality show Indian Mazaa League. Comic actors like Vrajesh Hirjee, Chandan Prabhakar, Saloni Daini will make people laugh. Actress Amruta Khanvilkar will be seen hosting the show.

Chandan Prabhakar, who plays the role of Chandu on Sony TV’s “The Kapil Sharma Show” is rumored to be quitting the comedy show.

Since Chandan Prabhakar is currently seen on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show‘. suppositions are everywhere that he might quit Kapil’s show as both the shows fall in comedy genre and it might create a conflict of interest.


Chandan says, “As of now, I am not quitting ‘The Kapil Sharma Show‘ and Kapil has no issues with me doing ‘Indian Mazak League’. There would have been a problem only if the two shows were airing at the same time. Kapil’s show is very dear to me and there is no way I will quit it.”

Kapil Sharma’s on screen family is known to be very close to him. When Kapil’s show ‘Comedy Night With Kapil’ was on its high point of success, Sunil Grover who was loved as Guthi quit the show. He went on to start his new show on Star Plus but it didn’t do that well. Sunil came back on ‘Comedy Night With Kapil’ and as a good friend stayed with Kapil when the latter ran into problems with Colors.
